Safari Experts Pick Top Trips

Last month, we talked about  Kent’s favorite Tanzania itinerary. While it’s never easy to pick just one favorite spot or itinerary in Africa, we strong-armed our talented staff into choosing a single trip each.

Safari Expert Kim Dodson favorite trip is our Botswana Deluxe +Victoria Falls Extension.  “Since I am a water person, I absolutely fell in love with the Okavango Delta.  The wetlands ecosystem, variety of activities (game drives, motor boat rides, canoeing, mokoro trips (dugout canoes with polers), and walks) and plethora of wildlife combined with the remoteness and discreet luxury of the tented camps, makes for a truly magical and memorable  experience! Victoria Falls is right next door and it’s so impressive that it would be a shame to miss it.”

Safari Specialist Jenny Salentine loves South Africa for its incredible variety of game viewing (some parks are even malaria free). She likes the rich culture and great restaurants and shops in cities like Cape Town and Johannesburg, opportunities for active adventures like hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains, and learning about the country’s rich history at museums and historical sites. “It’s gorgeous coastline offers a great variety of activities like hiking, kayaking, swimming and more. Next trip I want to do our whole South Africa Active Adventure!”

Sales Assistant Stella Spalding picks Namibia for it’s incredible desert landscapes, fantastic star gazing, surprisingly great variety of game and cool traditional culture. “My dream trip to Namibia would last two months, but if I had to pick a shorter trip, I would choose our Great Namibian Journey which takes 13 days to cover the highlights of the country including impressive Sossusvlei and much more.”
