DAY 1 – VICTORIA FALLS: On arrival at Victoria Falls, a representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. Enjoy a sunset river cruise on the Zambezi this evening. Overnight Sussi & Chuma. Chobe National Park has the world’s largest remaining population of elephants.Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, offers cultural, game-viewing, and lively activities.Named after Dr. David Livingstone’s faithful friends Sussi and Chuma, the lodge is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Zambezi, within Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, 7.5 miles upstream from Victoria Falls Accommodation is in twelve Sussi tree-houses, connected by wooden walkways. There are also two private Chuma houses, each with two bedrooms.
DAY 2 – VICTORIA FALLS: After breakfast you can enjoy a walking tour of Zambia side of Victoria Falls (entrance fee extra), known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “the Smoke that Thunders”. Afterwards, choose from other activities such as game drives, canoeing on the Zambezi, a local village tour to Nakatindi, or a walking safari. Meals and overnight Sussi & Chuma (B, L, D)
DAYS 3-4 – CHOBE NATIONAL PARK: After a morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred via ferry to Chobe Chilwero Camp, arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game activities. Established in 1968, the Chobe National Park covers approximately 7,270 square miles, encompassing floodplains, swamps and woodland. The Chobe River forms its northern boundary. The most accessible and frequently visited of Botswana’s big game country, the Chobe Riverfront is most famous for its large herds of elephants and cape buffalo. Enjoy a second day of game drives and activities. Meals and overnights at Chobe Chilwero Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero borders Chobe National Park. This luxurious lodge has just 15 guest cottages, as well as the only full spa on the Botswana safari circuit. As well as the elephants for which the park is famous, there are also huge herds of buffalo living in the towering teak forests. Each room has an inside and outside shower and abig freestanding tubs. Each cottage has its own private garden where guests can sip cocktails after a day of game viewing, or why not enjoy your very own private dinner served under the African sky. Spa facilities include an indoor spa bath, Vichy showers, hydrotherapy, plunge pool, relaxation area and private treatment rooms – one of which is elevated in the treetops.
DAYS 5-7 – OKAVANGO DELTA: After a morning activity and breakfast, fly [flights included] to Stanley’s Camp in the Okavango Delta, arriving in time for lunch and afternoon game activities. Enjoy two more days of game drives and activities, including serene mokoro canoe excursions (subject to water levels), exclusive bush dinners, and game drives, including the rare opportunity of night drives. As Stanley’s Camp is in a private concession, guests also have the exclusive option of walking safaris with an armed professional guide. Meals and overnights at Stanley’s Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)This camp is situated in a 260,000-acre private concession, thus affording guests absolute exclusivity. Guest accommodation consists of 8 classic styled safari tents. The delicately appointed tents transport you to early 19th century Africa. Each unit offers en-suite facilities and a private deck. Hammocks and Morris chairs on the decks are perfect for relaxation in the African sunshine. The main building is raised on decking and offers extensive views over the surrounding floodplains. Stanley’s is carefully blended into the existing tree line, its main support being a large sausage tree.
DAY 8 – OKAVANGO DELTA/DEPART: After breakfast and a final glimpse of the Delta, you will fly by light aircraft to Maun Airport for your connecting flight home. (B)
