Namibia Safaris

Vast, dry and desolate, yet full of life. Namibia is one of the most fantastic spots in Africa. Sand dunes roll over the land, reaching toward the sea and burying wrecked ships in their wake. Desert-adapted elephants, rhinos and oryx make a living in seemingly inhospitable land. With vast salt pans and wide-open cheetah country, Namibia is home to the oldest desert in the world, the Namib, and is a must-see destination in Africa. Click below to explore.

Things To Do And See On A Namibia Safari

Etosha National Park

Probably Namibia’s best game viewing destination, Etosha is a huge 7,800-square-mile park dominated by its namesake pan. The wildlife, however, is found in the surrounding bush. And there’s plenty of it, including elephants, rhinos, zebras, blue wildebeest and the rare black-faced impala.

Fish River Canyon National Park

A fascinating Grand Canyon-like place with beautiful scenery, extreme temperatures and challenging hiking.

Namib/Nakluft Park

One of the largest national parks in the world, Namib/Nakluft encompasses desert and semi-desert terrain and some of the most impressive sand dunes in the world, found at Sossusvlei.

Skeleton Coast

When ships ran ashore on Namibia’s coast, survival for the marooned sailors was out of the question. Inhospitable but incredibly gorgeous, the Skeleton Coast is full of fascinating dunes, geology, shore and desert wildlife. Great spots include the Cape Cross Seal Reserve and nearby Damaraland. Our favorite spot in southern Africa!
