Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive Windhoek: Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight The Olive Exclusive.

The Olive Exclusive – the first ultra-luxurious sanctuary of its kind in the Namibian capital – is cool, contemporary and stylish but with a warm heart and authentic African soul. The seven suites are individually decorated so each reflects a different region in Namibia, and each has its own lounge area with fireplace and dining room, for private dining.

Day 2 – Sossusvlei: Enjoy your morning at leisure. This afternoon after lunch you will be transferred back to Windhoek International Airport for your flight to Sossusvlei. Upon arrival, transfer to camp, arriving in time for high tea. Dinner and overnight at Little Kulala.

Little Kulala is a luxurious desert retreat situated in the private 91,000-acre Kulala Wilderness Reserve – the gateway to Namibia’s Sand Sea with its towering dunes and clear starry skies. Accommodation consists of eleven climate-controlled, thatched “kulalas” (the word means ‘to sleep’) which merge impeccably into the desert landscape, each with private plunge pool, both indoor and outdoor showers, and a rooftop star bed for romantic stargazing.

Day 3 – Sossusvlei: Rise early for a magical excursion into the Namib Naukluft National Park (Sossusvlei), entering the park gates at sunrise to capture the dunes while the light is soft and shadows accentuate their towering shapes and curves. This area boasts some of the highest free-standing sand dunes in the world. Return to your lodge for lunch. Enjoy the remainder of your afternoon at leisure or participate in an activity offered by the lodge. Activities include a visit to Sesriem Canyon, nature drives, walking trails, guided quad-biking, staying in a star bed and stargazing. Meals and overnight at Little Kulala.

Day 4 – Skeleton Coast Concession: After breakfast, transfer to the local airstrip for your flight to the Skeleton Coast. Weather permitting, you will see deserted mines, shipwrecks and seal colonies along the coast. Upon arrival, transfer to camp in time for lunch. Enjoy a shared afternoon safari activity. Dinner and overnight at Shipwreck Lodge.

Shipwreck Lodge is located in the famous Skeleton Coast concession. The unique shipwreck-shaped cabins are nestled between the dunes with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. The design of the lodge was inspired by the many ships that have been wrecked on the Skeleton Coast. There are eight ensuite twin/double cabins and 2 family cabins, each with a private deck to enjoy the scenery and a wood-burning stove.

Days 5 & 6 – Skeleton Coast Concession: Enjoy two days of shared safari activities. Activities include a Möwe Bay excursion, sundowner drive along the coast, Hoarusib River excursion, seaside lunch, ATV (quad bike) rides and dune boarding. Meals and overnights at Shipwreck Lodge.

Day 7 – Kunene Region: After breakfast, transfer to the local airstrip for your flight to Serra Cafema. Upon arrival, transfer to camp, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy a shared afternoon safari activity. Dinner and overnight at Serra Cafema.

Undoubtedly one of the most remote camps in southern Africa, Serra Cafema is located in the extreme northwest of Namibia on the banks of the Kunene River in the Hartmann Valley. Accommodation consists of eight riverside wood, canvas and thatched villas on spacious, elevated decks blended smoothly into the picturesque surroundings. Each tent has an ensuite bathroom, ceiling fan and mosquito nets. One of these rooms is an intimate, luxurious honeymoon villa with exceptional views, while another accommodates a family.

Days 8 & 9 – Kunene Region: Enjoy two days of shared safari activities. Activities include visits to a Himba Community, quad biking excursion, boating trips on the Kunene River, nature drives and walks in Hartmann’s Valley and a full-day outing to Marienfluss Valley. Meals and overnights at Serra Cafema.

Day 10 – Windhoek/Depart: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your flight to Windhoek via Hoanib and Doro Nawas. Upon arrival, connect to your onward flight.
