Next you’ll visit Machaba Camp in the Khwai region, part of the game-rich Okavango Delta. Here, game dives, walking safaris and village visits are the order of the day. Day 1 – Victoria Falls: Arrive at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and transfer to your lodge. Located in the north-west corner of Zimbabwe, the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River are the central points in an area of spectacular scenic beauty: from the falls themselves to the broad, picturesque course of the Zambezi River upstream, the rainforest adjacent and the stark jagged gorge downstream, the power and timelessness of nature’s forces are evident throughout. Enjoy a sunset river cruise on the Zambezi. Overnight at Gorges Lodge. (D)

Gorges Lodge is a mere 30-minute drive from Victoria Falls town and offers a unique Victoria Falls experience from a peaceful and idyllic base on the edge of the Batoka Gorge – a perfect choice for your Victoria Falls safari adventure!

Day 2 – Victoria Falls: After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the Victoria Falls. After lunch, enjoy a visit to the local village and a school tour. You can also enjoy a day of white water river rafting (additional cost). Overnight at Gorges Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 3 – Selinda Reserve: Today, fly to the Selinda Reserve in Northern Botswana. The Selinda Reserve has been documented to hold up to 9,000 elephants. All the major predators are here: lion, leopard and cheetah and wild dog sightings. Arrive at camp in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon safari activity. Overnight at Selinda Explorers Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Selinda Explorers Camp is poised in a remote, treasured location on the famous Selinda Spillway. Each of the four custom-designed, walk-in tents is expansive; however, in keeping with a bit of traditional safari, the en-suite flush loo and shower are attached and enclosed, but under the stars.

Days 4 & 5 – Selinda Reserve: Enjoy two days of shared safari activities in the Selinda Reserve. Activities include 4×4 game drives, guided wildlife walks, and canoeing. Overnight at Selinda Explorers Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Day 6 – Okavango Delta: Today, fly to the game-rich Khwai area in Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is the largest inland delta system in the world and offers spectacular game viewing, including elephant, lion, zebra, leopard, and giraffe. Arrive at camp in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon safari activity. Overnight at Machaba Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Machaba Camp is situated in the game-rich Khwai area, on the eastern tongue of the Okavango Delta. All ten luxury tents are situated in the beautiful riverine treeline on the Khwai River, overlooking the famous Moremi Game Reserve. From these tented verandas, one can watch the daily parade of animals coming down to drink at the river in front of the camp. Activities include game viewing, game walks, village visits and more.

Days 7 & 8 – Okavango Delta: Enjoy two days of shared safari activities in the Okavango Delta. Activities include 4×4 game drives, guided wildlife walks, and visits to the local community. Overnight at Machaba Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Day 9 – Central Kalahari Game Reserve: Today, fly to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, located in the largest continuous stretch of sand in the world. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve, extending over 31,068 square miles, was set aside in 1961. The reserve and empty lands around it support tens of thousands of desert antelope – gemsbok and springbok, lions, leopard, and cheetah. Arrive at camp in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon safari activity. Overnight at Kalahari Plains Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Kalahari Plains Camp, in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, looks out onto an immense pan, endless horizons and beautiful skies. The main area consists of a lounge and dining area with a swimming pool and deck.

Day 10 – Central Kalahari Game Reserve: Today, after breakfast, enjoy a bushman walk where you will learn about the traditional lifestyle of the ancient Bushman clan through dress, activities and a short walk. After lunch, enjoy a shared game drive or nature walk. Overnight at Kalahari Plains Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)
