Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive Victoria Falls: Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, Zimbabwe where you will be met and transferred by road to Matetsi, Victoria Falls River Lodge or Ilala Lodge.

Luxury: Matetsi offers a unique combination of rich wildlife viewing and scenic Victoria Falls experiences. The Zambezi River runs alongside two intimate camps, with nine river-facing suites each. The cool and spacious suites boast contemporary interiors embellished with natural finishes, and decorated with abstract pieces of art created by a renowned local artist. Each suite features a lovely bathroom and private veranda with exceptional views of the river. Set in the deep shade of riverside trees, each camp has a dedicated guest area. Safari activities and sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River included. Victoria Falls activities at an additional cost.

Deluxe: Victoria Falls River Lodge boasts 13 tented suites (each with private deck and plunge pool), 6 secluded island treehouse suites, spacious open-plan dining, lounge and bar areas, an onsite fitness center and spa on the banks of the Zambezi River. The first privately owned safari lodge to be built within the Zambezi National Park, the Lodge is ideally located for exploring Victoria Falls – the spray of which can be seen in the distance!

Value: Ilala Lodge has 32 rooms and two suites furnished with railway sleeper teak. With plenty of light from the patio doors, rooms lead onto either a communal garden or a balcony, where rooms on the upper level afford a view of the spray of the falls. Standard in each room are two ¾ beds, en-suite bathrooms with a shower, bath and bathroom amenities, air-conditioning, fan, and tea and coffee facilities. Suites are larger and include a king-size bed. Activities at an additional cost.

Day 2 – Victoria Falls: Spend your day exploring Victoria Falls. Enjoy the activities your lodging offers and/or other activities in the area (at an additional charge) include sunset cruises, helicopter flights, micro-lighting, canoeing, jet boating and white water rafting.
