Itinerary

Day 1 – Victoria Falls: Upon arriving at Livingstone Airport in Zambia, you will be met and transferred to Sussi & Chuma. Enjoy a sunset river cruise on the Zambezi this evening. Overnight Sussi & Chuma. (D, Dr)

Named after Dr. David Livingstone’s faithful friends, Sussi and Chuma, the lodge is located in the beautiful Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, 7.5 miles upstream from Victoria Falls. Guest accommodation consists of 12 luxury tree-houses, built into the canopy of majestic ebony trees lining the river bank.

Day 2 – Victoria Falls: After breakfast, you can enjoy a walking tour of the Zambia side of Victoria Falls (entrance fee extra), known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “the Smoke that Thunders.” Afterward, choose from other activities such as game drives, canoeing on the Zambezi, touring the local village of Nakatindi, or join a walking safari. Meals and overnight Sussi & Chuma (B, L, D, Dr)

Days 3 & 4 – Chobe National Park: After a morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred via ferry to Chobe Chilwero Camp, arriving in time for lunch and afternoon game activities. Established in 1968, the Chobe National Park covers approximately 7,270 square miles, encompassing floodplains, swamps, and woodland, with the Chobe River as its northern boundary. In addition to the elephants for which the park is famous, huge herds of buffalo live in the towering teak forests, and the park is home to many other species including lions, leopards, many antelope species and countless birds. Enjoy a second day exploring the area. Meals and overnights Chobe Chilwero Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Chobe Chilwero borders Chobe National Park. This luxurious lodge has just 15 guest cottages, each with an inside and outside shower and a big free-standing tub. Each cottage has its own private garden where guests can sip cocktails after a day of game viewing, or enjoy your very own private dinner served under the African sky. Spa facilities include an indoor spa bath, Vichy showers, hydrotherapy, plunge pool, relaxation area, and private treatment rooms – one of which is elevated in the treetops.

Days 5, 6, & 7 – Okavango Delta: After a morning activity and breakfast, transfer to Kasane Airport in Botswana for your light aircraft transfer to Stanley’s Camp in the Okavango Delta, arriving in time for lunch and afternoon game activities. Enjoy two more days of game drives (including night drives) and activities, such as serene mokoro canoe excursions (water level dependent) and exclusive bush dinners. As Stanley’s Camp is in a private concession, guests also have the exclusive option of walking safaris with an armed professional guide and its Living with Elephants interaction. Meals and overnights at Stanley’s Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Stanley’s Camp is situated in a 260,000-acre private concession, thus affording guests absolute exclusivity. Guest accommodation consists of eight classic styled safari tents. The delicately appointed tents transport you to early 19th century Africa. Each unit offers en-suite facilities and a private deck. Hammocks and Morris chairs on the decks are perfect for relaxing in the African sunshine. The main building is raised on decking and offers extensive views over the surrounding floodplains.

Day 8 – Okavango Delta/Depart: After breakfast, you will fly by light aircraft to Maun Airport for your onward flight. (B)
