Contact UsDay 1 & 2 – Livingstone, Zambia (Victoria Falls): Upon arrival in Livingstone, Zambia, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. This will be your base to explore the famous falls and some of the activities on offer in the area such as a sunset river cruise, game drive, cultural tour, canoeing, bungee jumping, white water rafting and micro lighting (some at for an extra charge). Dinner and overnight at The Royal Livingstone.
The Royal Livingstone is located on the Zambezi River in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, with free unlimited access to Victoria Falls for all resort guests. Wake up to the once-in-a-lifetime sight of wildlife roaming freely. Choose from a range of modern guest rooms and suites, each with a private veranda overlooking the Zambezi River or savanna.
Day 2 – Victoria Falls: Spend your day exploring Victoria Falls. Enjoy the activities your hotel offers or work with your Journey Specialist to pre-book activities in the area.
Days 3, 4, & 5 – Kafue National Park: Enjoy a shared morning activity. This afternoon, fly to Kafue National Park. Found in the center of western Zambia, Kafue National Park is the oldest and largest of Zambia’s national parks. It covers a massive 13,919 square miles. Shumba Camp is situated in the middle of the Busanga Plains in the midst of various lion pride territories and is said to provide some of the best lion viewing in Africa. These lions are often seen in and around camp. Enjoy two full days of shared safari activities; including game drives, guided night drives, hot air balloon safari, boating, and specialist birding safari. Meals and overnights at Shumba Camp.
Located on a tree island in the center of the breathtaking Busanga Plains is stylish Shumba Camp. Its six luxury tented units are spacious, ensuite with both indoor and outdoor showers, and all raised on wooden platforms with spectacular views of the surrounding plains. The bar and dining area is shaded by spectacular fig trees and boasts magnificent vistas over the open wildlife-rich plains.
Days 6, 7, & 8 – Lower Zambezi National Park: Today, fly to Lusaka and connect to your flight to Lower Zambezi National Park. The game-viewing in the Lower Zambezi is surpassed only by the beauty of the views. With the steep escarpment behind you and the Zambezi in front, few fail to be moved by this park. Enjoy two full days of shared safari activities; including game drives, boating on the Zambezi River, fishing, bird watching, canoeing, walking safaris and night game drives. Meals and overnights at Chongwe Camp.
Chongwe Camp has eight classic, newly renovated tents. Each has a panoramic view along the Chongwe River, a spacious open-air bathroom, a porch with comfortable lounge chairs and features local textiles and handcrafted furniture.
Day 9 – Lusaka/Depart: After breakfast, fly to Lusaka and connect to your onward flight.
